In collaboration with refugee serving organizations throughout the greater rochester area we invite you to join us for a free family event in celebration of the refugee community who now call Rochester home.

KOP will offer FREE lead testing on everyday household items including: makeup, jewelry, cooking pans or pressure cookers, toys, soil from your garden, and more.
Be sure to bring items you suspect may contain lead for FREE testing and helpful health information on lead poisoning. Testing is non-destructive, and items will not be compromised. This initiative is made possible by grant funding from The Greater Rochester Health Foundation and the assistance of graduate students from Nazareth University Environmental Sciences and Sustainability Program, and Toxicology Program. We appreciate their commitment to the health and safety of our refugee population in Rochester! |
